Five-million acres of public land, six state parks, and two wildlife areas welcome to Lincoln County.
Just north of Las Vegas youll find a land like none other. We say its primitive and it is to some extent but not where it counts. We have Mother Natures greatest creations and you can drive them, ride them, hike them, bike them, or simply admire them. The trail starts in Lincoln County.
This September, pack up the kids and haul the toys to Pioche. Lincoln County is hosting its 5th annual Trails Day event, coinciding with National Public Lands Day on September 26 and 27. Come join us for some fun on your public lands.
National Public Lands Day is the nations largest hands-on volunteer effort that helps improve and enhance public lands. The Lincoln County Trails Coalition, in cooperation with the Bureau of Land Management, Nevada Division of State Parks, and the Lincoln County Commissioners, have planned a line-up of events to not only improve some trails, but also enjoy using them. Come join us for some fun on your public lands. For a registration form, please click here.
Trails Day events include a trails maintenance project, two different hikes, an ATV poker run, four guided ATV rides, a four-wheel drive adventure, a mountain bike ride, an equestrian trail ride, and a motorcycle trail ride. These events will take place in various areas surrounding the town of Pioche in Lincoln County. OHV riders, please download
