ATTENTION RV CLUBS
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR NEW DESTINATIONS AND WANTING TO REFRESH CHAPTER PROGRAMS?
The Answer is in Lincoln County, Nevada!
Lincoln County was a total surprise for me, and I have been conducting tours for 29 years. What a find! It is “REAL SIMPLICITY” and the authentic old west you saw in cowboy movies as a child where the bad guys hid out in the caves and canyons and the wild mustangs ran free.
Lincoln County Highlights:
• Located less than 2 hours from Las Vegas and Ely, Nevada
• Just 2 hours west of Cedar City and St. George, Utah
• Ideal place for historical tours and museums
• Hands on recreation with 6 state parks and the Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge
• Desert golf to PGA golf
• Hiking and mountain climbing
• Bird watching
• Off the road discoveries, ancient rock painting and prehistoric collections
LCAT, Lincoln Communities Action Team, has created a list of resource people to ASSIST WITH YOUR STATE CHAPTERS, REGIONAL CHAPTERS ,WEEKEND GETAWAY PROGRAMS AND RV TOUR GROUPS.
This is the perfect add-on for Las Vegas Vacations to give your guests an option outside of the neon city. If you create “HUB AND SPOKE” programs then this is for you. Options are there for luxury travel or the “Real Simplicity” of rural Nevada that today’s travelers want to experience.

The communities in Lincoln County are small, but remember good things come in small packages. Quartzite, AZ did not start out big either. Smaller RV Parks and Campgrounds are located in each town, but there are Fairgrounds and Rodeo Grounds for marked off camping with services brought to the sites. Lincoln County has all the equipment to provide firefighters with the necessities and these same suppliers can provide water, RV dumping, propane, and even electric with rented generators. Dry camping, of course, is great with solar assistance of their beautiful days. Catering can also be arranged and best of all recreation and entertainment abounds. Emergency assistance is present with a trained group of volunteers who support the Best Of The Desert Off Road race. RV Repair is available as well as towing assistance. Dumping stations are in Caliente at Youngs RV Park and Alamo at Alamo Truck Stop. Roads to and from Lincoln County are well maintained and have services along the way.
