If you’ve never been here you will feel like it is home by the time you leave.

It started as a multi-family picnic in the park over the Memorial Day Weekend and has grown to attract over 900 people to the Sunday Family Bar-B-Q.  The weekend provides other activities including a softball tournaments, horseshoes, art exhibits, craft fair, car & motorcyle show, children’s games, paranormal investigation of the old Caliente Depot, talent show, pool tournament, and of course, the parade.

One of the traditions has been the sale of numbered commemorative buttons.  During the Family Bar-B-Q in Rose Park, on Sunday afternoon, prizes are given to holders of the winning buttons.

Reserve your room or campsite early as this is a well attended event… for a good reason!  It’s fun!
