LC Record: Eagle Valley hosts ‘Walk for the Cure’ to help fight breast cancer

This year, the entire pink-colored affair began at the Eagle Valley Resort with sign-ups and mingling. Sheila Romero prepared a light lunch for participants, and Jessica Markle assisted with sales and registration. 

Friends and families gathered inside the resort to pay the registration fees and, in some cases, to purchase hot pink shirts, bracelets and boas. Before long, the groups of participants slowly made their way out of the resort and began their six-mile trip to the reservoir. They were accompanied by extra vehicles in case anyone participating was unable to make the full trip.
