Workshop Description: This workshop is designed for photographers with new cameras or those people would like to have a refresher on navigating their camera settings (the how’s, why’s, and when’s). The workshop will focus on the basics of photography and camera operation. It will be a good primer for new photographers and help sharpen skills of more experienced photographers. We will examine the various camera modes including manual, shutter priority, aperture priority and bulb. All of these camera modes will be used during the Photo Festival workshops. We will also review the relationship between ISO, aperture and shutter speed. Finally we will do our best to help you find the helpful settings in your camera and get comfortable navigating the dials and menus. Please bring your manual. The workshop will be lead by Shawn Severn. However, many of the workshop leaders will be available to help.
