Instructor: Shawn & Corrine Severn
Date: June 22, 2019 | Time: 8:30 a.m. | Thompson’s Opera House – Pioche, NV
Workshop Description: In this travel photography workshop, we will focus on building your skills to take more captivating photographs that tell the stories of the places you visit. The skills taught during this workshop will focus on creating strong compositions, using the available light, and the best camera settings to capture your travel photographs. The instruction will be helpful for people using DSLR cameras, but it will also improve the skills of those people who use a point-and-shoot or smartphone camera. The optimal equipment for the class is a DLSR camera, a medium range zoom lens and a camera bag to carry your gear. Extra batteries and SD cards may also be useful. We will meet at the front of the GEM Theater in Pioche at 8:30 AM on Saturday. We will be doing quite a bit of walking (strolling), so please keep that in mind if you are interested in this trip.
