Pioche Labor Day

The Pioche Labor Day Celebration is a fabulous weekend of fun for locals and visitors alike. The event provides a fun and safe environment for the whole family. We have children and adult mining games, pet show, four-wheeler races, craft show, golf tourney, lawn mower races, parades, street dance, “old west” shoot-out, vendors, bake sale, farmers market, carnival games, mountain bike races, softball tourney, free swim for kids, fireworks and so much more.

Hundreds flock to the quaint and picturesque one-street town of Panaca for the annual Pioneer Day celebration. It is a perfect opportunity for family reunions and saying happy birthday to one of the first settlements in Nevada. Panaca was actually settled the same year Nevada became a state. The event includes a parade and is filled with a variety of games, from remote control car races in the park to games on the lawn of the LDS Church on Main Street and a firework display.
