Lincoln County is home to a wide-variety of wildlife. Hundreds of different species visit the Pahranagat National Wildlife Refuge yearly. The conservation area is 5,380 acres of lakes, marshes, wet meadows and desert uplands. Over 260 different species of birds have been recorded on the refuge.

The area offers incredible hunting and fishing opportunities. Elk, deer, antelope and fowl are among the most popular hunts the area has to offer. And anglers have the choice of several fishing spots for largemouth bass, bullhead catfish, crappie, rainbow trout and brown trout.
