PIONEER DAY

Hundreds flock to the picturesque town of Panaca for the annual Pioneer Day celebration. It is a perfect opportunity for family reunions and saying happy birthday to one of the first settlements in Nevada. Panaca was actually settled the same year Nevada became a state. The event includes a parade and is filled with a variety of games, from remote control car races in the park to games on the lawn of the LDS Church on Main Street and a firework display.
