Over the last few weeks, ending on Feb. 28, local Lincoln County business Grannyโs Attic held a contest to see how creative the elementary school kids in the northern part of the county could be.
Grannyโs Attic is an antiques/repurposed goods/other home dรฉcor business based in Panaca, and the competition was open to any elementary school student in Caliente, Pioche, and Panaca.
The kids were issued coloring pages depicting an elderly granny sitting in a rocking chair (hence the โGrannyโs Attic Rocks!โ tagline) with the admonition to โbe creative!โ with what they drew, and the winners from each school were judged based off of originality and creativity. [Read More]
